Prospect Watch: El Paso gave up a run in every inning and were trailing 13-0 after five innings. While El Paso did come back to have 17 hits and six walks, most of their damage came when the game was all but over. Luis Campusano continues to absolutely dominate the PCL. He reached base three more times Thursday and now has reached base at a .506 clip over the last six weeks. His .440 overall on-base percentage and 1.044 lead all qualified hitters in full-season baseball. … While Marcos Castañon spent two years in Double-A, he couldn’t have hoped for a better start at the next level. After a double as part of a three-hit night Wednesday, Castañon has six extra-base hits and has reached base safely 15 times in his first seven Triple-A games, good for a .440 average and a 1.453 OPS. The 26-year-old got his season OPS back to .800 for the first time since June 17. … Yonathan Perlaza reached base five times, collecting his career-best 46th double to tie his career high of 66 extra-base hits. The 26-year-old is hitting .304/.391/.511 on the year.

Prospect Watch: After going 0-for-14 to end the season with Fort Wayne, Eguy Rosario made an immediate impact for the Missions as he reached base three times and connected on a home run. In 56 games at four different levels, Rosario has hit just .193/.270/.292 with four home runs. He’s looking to get hot to end an otherwise disappointing year. … Albert Fabian is also looking to finish his season strong.  Fabian had a pair of hits out of the leadoff spot and has now reached base safely in five straight games. He’s also collected at least one RBI in three straight. While the power production has been more solid than stellar since his comeback from injury, he is slugging .520 in September. … Between April 21 and September 9, Wyatt Hoffman played in 62 games and had a total of two extra-base hits. Wednesday night, he collected two doubles and picked up his seventh RBI of the season. The 26-year-old utility player has slugged just .182 with a .431 OPS on the season. … Jared Kollar tossed five strong innings in what may be his last start of the year. It was the second time in three starts that Kollar has allowed only one earned run. The 27-year-old righty has a 6.61 ERA with 109 innings and 65 strikeouts between San Antonio and EL Paso.
